Archival Silver Gelatin Prints
Fine art B&W prints have a special place in the photographic world. It is through this medium that many of our most well known photographers have chosen to express their vision. Producing a fine art print which successfully translates that vision to silver gelatin print requires first, a serious commitment on the part of the printer to understand the intellectual, emotional and perhaps, even whimsical content of an image and secondly, the technical skill to translate it to paper. At Red River Photo we have a staff, which possesses both the technical expertise and the communication skills to present our clients with art prints, which meet and often exceed their expectations. Clients are initially presented with 2 test prints varying in contrast and density to be reviewed and marked with changes. Based on these recommendations and communication with the client, the print staff produces a final print to submit for approval. Upon approval by the client the edition is run and the final approval print is archived at Red River for possible later orders.
Archival Chromagenic Prints
Our fine art color print department continues it’s long tradition of providing the serious artist/ photographer with art prints, which are second to none. Simply put, we know color and we know how to best translate it from negative to paper. Working closely with the artist and using the best archival papers available today, our testing process insures every client of final prints, which accurately portray their vision. Clients are initially presented with 3 test prints varying in color and density to be reviewed and marked with changes to be made before proceeding to the final test. Based on these recommendations and communication with the client, the print staff produces a final test print to submit for approval. Upon approval by the client the edition is run and the final approval print is archived at Red River for possible later orders.
